To work with weakened people (young children, elderly people, disabled people…) requires accurate and professional gestures to ensure their safety.
The trainees will have to be able to guide these people in their daily life (meals, moving, comfort, hygiene…) and to create projects with them. In Lesquin, there are specialized premises to learn concretely this job: a welfare space, an animation room, equipped kitchen…
Premises and linen upkeep
This place is used to store all the material, products and to practice tasks of the day-to-day life. The objective is to be efficient, to respect hygiene or safety rules and to ensure their well-being. Trainees will have to use special materials with which they may have to work with later.
A room dedicated to comfort and cares
A childcare center, hospital beds, wheelchairs… our training center is very well equipped with professional tools and materials so that our students get accustomed to use the accurate material. Moreover, numerous animation projects are organized in this room, in partnership with external organizations. The objective here is to guide our students so that they adapt better and quicker to the different needs of people with whom they will work.
