European and international relations
The Institut de Genech has a real international openness policy. Through study trips, partnerships with foreign universities, linguistic and cultural journeys, humanitarian cooperation with Africa, the Institut de Genech incites its students to open their minds. Today, various projects are implemented:
- Internships in European countries (Ireland, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Poland…)
- Student exchanges with other European countries (Hungary, Poland, Slovenia…)
- Cultural study trips (Greece, Italy…)
- Exchanges with India and Russia thanks to the Unesco network
- Students preparing a professional or technological baccalaureate have the opportunity to experience an internship in the European Union (Leonardo Program)
- “Comenius” Training scholarship granted for English teachers
- Participation to seminars of European contact (Comenius and Leonardo programs)
- “Comité Départ” association oriented towards cooperation and development
- One-week trips in Great Britain or the Netherlands for HND students
Foreign diplomas
From year 11, students are getting prepared to foreign exams and certifications:
- Preliminary English Test, level B1
- First Certificate, level B2
- Cambridge English Certificate (year 11, European class section)
- DELE, initial and intermediate levels
- Zertifikat Deutsch, level B1
- Zertifikat Deutsch, level B2
Events
Our pupils and students have the possibility to participate in different international events. It may be the United Nations Congress, scientific conferences in foreign languages or even the Symposium for Young Researchers of Natural Sciences, projects are numerous!
