The training

Career objectives

Following the training course, the participant will be able to plan a construction site, organise resources, and quantify resources within a predefined budget. They will be capable of managing a site by controlling costs, in compliance with safety regulations, and reporting to their line manager.

Define what constitutes a successful construction project

From the perspective of the various stakeholders: production objectives, safety compliance, cost control, customer satisfaction, interpersonal skills...

Distinguish the different factors involved in a construction site and their stakes

Planning, counter-study, supplier negotiation, administrative declarations, site reports, progress valuations, site meetings, purchase orders, context….

Define the coûsite plans

  • Site costs.
  • Overview of the elements to be included in the counter-study process.

Preparing a construction site

  • The Gantt chart, scheduling of teams, deliveries, and equipment.
  • Supplier negotiation, product data sheets, technical response, administrative procedures, the concept of processing time, and contractual lead time.

Monitor the construction site

  • Tracking documents, and their processing, invoicing.
  • Site safety, the safety and health document.
  • The transmission of instructions and the site file.

Hand over the project

The guarantees, the reinforcement and completion works. The preliminary operations and the handover with or without reservations.

Take stock

Carry out the technical and financial review of the construction site, site analytics, and margin.

The teaching approach used is active and participant-centred, focusing on the participants, their experiences in the field and their feelings.
