Through its various sites and programmes, the Association Institut de Genech fosters a spirit of openness, high standards and close collaboration. Here, learning is rooted in reality, through contact with nature, local areas and professionals. Our history

From the École pratique libre d’agriculture to the Group as it is today.

1894

Establishment of the Genech Free Practical School of Agriculture by professionals from the rural sector.

1968

Start of the 4ᵉ and 3ᵉ school years.

1970

The start of higher education with the introduction of BTS courses.

1977

Establishment of the Apprenticeship Training Centre (CFA).

1988

Establishment of the in vitro laboratory.

1998

Opening of the educational farm.

1993

Establishment of the general lycée.

1997

Acquisition of the Lesquin site.

2016

Resumption of the Bavay vocational high school.

2019

Opening of the active stable at the equestrian farm.

2022

Launch of the Terres d'Avenir 2030 institutional project.

2023

Groupe Institut de Genech new brand identity.

2024

Creation of the new Agora Easylearning educational and pedagogical building.

2025

130th Anniversary of Excellence.

Evolution of the educational provision

From Year 10 to a Bachelor's degree, courses at the heart of the living world.

Initially focused on animal and plant agriculture, the training provision has gradually diversified from Year 10 (4ème) to Bachelor's degree level (BAC +3) in the following sectors:
