The pupils of First and final year of landscape design studies spent three days in Paris to discover its iconic monuments as well as its parks and gardens, true havens of peace and beauty in the heart of the capital.

The first day led them to the gardens of Versailles, with an exclusive tour of the programme Garden of the Scents, the farm and the Queen's hamlet. It was also an opportunity to explore the English garden, often less famous than the famous formal French garden, but just as remarkable.

The tone was set: that of a break dedicated to discovery, heritage and wonder.

From second day, the pupils set off on a walking tour of around fifteen kilometres, passing through some of Paris’s most iconic neighbourhoods. From the tour of the Senate, where the sumptuous salons decorated during the Napoleonic era left a lasting impression, to the unforgettable entrance into the chamber.

The tour led them to the impressive restoration of Notre-Dame, passing through the green corridor, the Tuileries, the Luxembourg gardens or even the POPB (Accor Arena).

The evening continued with a tour of the Montmartre neighbourhood, before we experienced a “Paris by night” by coach, annotated and illuminated, revealing the capital in a new light.

The third and final day held some wonderful surprises, with the discovery of the André-Citroën Park, a bold alliance between urban design and nature, and an exclusive tour of Stade de France, in the middle of preparing for the French Cup final.

Apart from the sightseeing, this trip was, above all, a a time for sharing, personal growth and team spirit. It illustrates our commitment to supporting our young people in their cultural and personal development by opening the doors of history, citizenship and heritage to them.
