The training

Level 4 State Diploma, issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty. Registered in the RNCP on 02-08-2022, under number 36788.

APPRENTICESHIP

GENERAL TEACHING MODULES:

Developing scientific reasoning around issues facing the world today

TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL MODULES:

Activities aimed at fostering social cohesion within their local context
Organising their work with individuals and within the local area

Implementation of initiatives to foster social cohesion or territorial cohesion

Rhythm

School

Work-based learning placements last 21 weeks over the three-year course:

7 weeks in Year 10
8 weeks in the Première year
6 weeks in the final year of secondary school

APPRENTICESHIP

The apprenticeship schedule is organised around 2 days a week of training at the CFA, supplemented by the rest of the week in the workplace, on the basis of a 35-hour working week. Full weeks of training at the CFA are also scheduled throughout the year to deepen theoretical and practical learning.

Care-related professions offer numerous employment opportunities in a wide range of settings: hospitals, clinics, care homes for the elderly, sheltered accommodation, home care services, nurseries, specialist care centres, community centres, emergency accommodation, as well as in accommodation and catering establishments (holiday cottages, holiday villages, etc.).

After a SAPAT vocational baccalaureate, these facilities become accessible and help to meet the needs of individuals and families, whilst contributing to the vitality of rural areas. There are several possible pathways:

By competitive examination : care assistant, childcare assistant
By file DEAES (State Diploma for Educational and Social Support Worker)
Through Parcoursup nurse, specialised educator, social work assistant, CESF adviser
After short supplementary training youth worker, home carer, educational support worker…

(The training is funded by the OPCOs and the CFA. The apprentice and the company therefore have no costs to cover.)

Prerequisite

School

To come from a Year 9 class or a Year 11 (General and Technological) (possible change of direction)
Interest in the fields of personal services, social work and rural community activities
Direct entry to Year 1 (depending on profile) if holding a diploma from Level 3 in the field

APPRENTICESHIP

Being aged 16 to 29
Possible from age 15 after a Year 9 class subject to conditions
Having signed an apprenticeship contract
Entry into Year 11 vocational education following a Year 9 class or a general and technological second year
Entry into Year 12 of a vocational upper secondary school for holders of a Level 3 in the field of personal services, health and social care, or support
Age or qualification exemptions may be granted depending on the applicant's profile

Continuous assessment and final exams after the three-year training period
Work placement periods are the subject of a portfolio, which the pupil must present as part of the exam
