The training

Level 3 State Diploma, issued by the Ministry of Labour, Full Employment and Integration. Registered in the RNCP on 11-07-2023 under number 37715.
Objectives

The ADVF professional title, registered with the RNCP, allows you to prepare for and access a career in personal and family assistance. Indeed, this entry-level qualification recognises skills acquired across three main areas:

  • Assist the person in maintaining their living environment while respecting their privacy, tastes, and habits
  • Supporting people in essential daily activities while helping to promote their physical, intellectual and social independence
  • Provide backup for the parent in home-based childcare by encouraging support for basic learning and their socialisation through activities

Maintain a private individual's home and laundry

  • Get in touch and organise the tasks with the person
  • Preventing household risks and working safely
  • Ensure respect for the individual's privacy, preferences and habits
  • Practise the professional techniques and skills required for cleaning a home and caring for laundry

Supporting the individual in their essential daily activities and projects

  • Build a professional relationship with the individual and those around them
  • Organise the actions to be carried out with the individuals
  • Prevent risks, establish a relay
  • Contribute to maintaining the person's independence
  • Practise the appropriate professional techniques and actions
  • Adapt one's intervention to the person with a disability
  • Assisting the person with shopping, preparing and eating meals

Take over from the parent in providing childcare at home

  • Communicate and liaise with parents
  • Organise the intervention with one or more children
  • Preventing risks and ensuring safety
  • Support foundational learning and offer tailored activities
  • Implement the professional techniques and practices suited to children

Between 300 and 700 hours, depending on the agreement

Indicative durations, adjustable according to the company's needs.

  • Teaching methods: initial assessment and individualisation of learning pathways, theoretical contributions brought to life through practical scenarios, sharing of best practices, role-play, review of workplace experiences, mock exams
  • Technical resources: 3 technical platforms including 1 approved by the Ministry of Employment for training certification

  • €14 an hour

APPRENTICESHIP: Training covered by OPCOs and funding secured by the CFA. There are therefore no out-of-pocket costs for the apprentice or the company.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Possible funding options depending on your circumstances: self-funding, France Travail, career transition support, etc. – please check with the centre.

  • Anyone wishing to work with and communicate with vulnerable people
  • To be 18 years old

To get the most out of the course, it is advisable to be able to speak, read, write and do basic maths in French.

12 to 20 participants

  • One-to-one interview and placement test
  • Access times: Interview within 30 days of the 1st contact
  • To have an apprenticeship contract or a professional training contract

The three modules are assessed at the end of the course, enabling participants to obtain three CCPs (Certificates of Professional Competence).

Obtaining a CCP gives the right to sit the other CCPs to obtain the professional title within the limit of the title's validity period.

  • Premises: Fire safety regulations for public buildings (ERP) – Premises accessible to people with reduced mobility
  • Possible academic guidance and adaptation, mentored by a disability officer
