The training

Level 3 State Diploma, issued by the Ministry of Labour. Registered in the RNCP on 15-12-2022 under the number 37099.
Objectives
  • Master the skills required to work as a Retail Sales Assistant and obtain the Level 3 Professional Title (equivalent to a CAP or BEP). Professional certification issued by the Ministry of Labour.
  • Possibility of obtaining, through partial qualification, certificates of professional competence (CCP):
  • Make the trading unit's products available to customers in an omnichannel environment
  • Welcoming customers and responding to their enquiries in an omnichannel environment

TECHNICAL AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION MODULES

CCP 1: Make Market Unit products available to customers in an omnichannel environment

  • Product knowledge
  • Handling goods
  • Stock the shelf in accordance with the layout rules and health and safety guidelines
  • Assist with stock monitoring and contribute to order validation
  • Processing customer product orders

CCP 2: Welcome customers and respond to their requests in an omnichannel environment

  • Welcome, inform, guide and serve the customer on the sales floor
  • Highlight products to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience
  • Record goods sold and collect payment
  • Supervise the self-service checkouts

In addition to the training

  • Support and preparation for certification
  • Awareness of sustainable development principles in the targeted professional sector

The ‘Professional Qualification for Shop Sales Assistants’ course is a one-year programme, following the timetable provided by the training centre (500 hours at the training centre).

The work-study programme usually involves two days at the CFA (16 hours in total) per week.

Anyone wishing to work in the field of commerce in all available fields.

You must be aged between 15 and 29, with no age restriction for people with RQTH status.

10 to 20 participants

There are two possibilities:

  • The candidate is applying directly to the Lesquin UFA
  • Interview, assessment test and decision within 20 days of the first contact

To enter the training course, the candidate must have signed an apprenticeship contract with a company capable of offering them work situations related to the level being prepared for (various types of retail, local convenience stores, mass retail and specialised distribution, craft product businesses, B2B trading companies, etc.). They have a maximum period of 3 months after the start of the training to find a host company.

The CFA assists the candidate in their search for an apprenticeship contract.

We run half-day sessions on job-search techniques, during which we help young people refine their CVs and cover letters, prepare them for future job interviews, and draw up their job-search plan.

  • Premises: Fire safety regulations for public buildings (ERP) – Premises accessible to people with reduced mobility
