A workshop agroforestry complete.
The vocational high school of Bavay has comprehensive agroforestry and landscape workshop, a truly central tool for forestry, landscape and natural environment training courses. Designed to reflect professional realities as closely as possible, it constitutes a space for learning, practice and technical management.
Set across a complex of several functional spaces, it includes in particular a workshop with 12 fully equipped workbench stations, a storage area dedicated to forestry, landscaping and pruning equipment, as well as a classroom and changing rooms.
Secure storage and modern equipment fleet.
It allows for the secure storage of all equipment and the carrying out of practical training under optimal conditions of safety and comfort, whilst facilitating the maintenance, repair and inspection of equipment.
A true educational platform, it supports training pathways from vocational training certificate to specialisation certificate, relying on a modern fleet of over 50 professional items of equipment brushcutters, chainsaws of various engine sizes, cutting, pruning and reforestation tools, climbing equipment.
Educational works in real-life conditions.
Learners work on it in real-world conditions on regular training building sites, promoting the acquisition of practical skills in landscape design and forestry work.
Beyond the technical dimension, this workshop is a collaborative workspace between learners, trainers and professionals. It encourages teamwork, coordination on simultaneous construction sites and rigorous equipment management, which are essential skills for professional integration.
