The training

Objectives
  • Train skilled professionals in the various branches of horticultural production: vegetable growing, flower production, plant nurseries and arboriculture
  • Acquire crop management techniques (sowing, planting, maintenance, harvesting)
  • Learn how to manage and optimise production (quality, yield, work organisation)
  • Master professional horticultural practices relating to plants (horticulture, market gardening, nursery work, etc.)
  • Develop teamwork and operations management skills
  • Learn about the realities of the professional world through work placements and practical scenarios

Pre-enrolment can be done from November, via an appointment with the Headteacher of the Vocational Lycée. This is an opportunity to clarify the information received and to complete the administrative file.

Continuous assessment and final exams after the three years of training.

Work placement periods are the subject of a portfolio, which the student must present as part of the exam.

  • Premises: Fire safety regulations for public buildings (ERP) – Premises accessible to people with reduced mobility
  • Possible academic guidance and adaptation, mentored by a disability officer
