The training

State Diploma of Level 6, awarded by the CNAM, LP 16001A, Hauts-de-France. Registered in the RNCP under number 40718.

Objectives

To train and qualify professionals capable of diagnosing a company (global approach, strategy, etc.) and providing technical advice in the field of livestock production
Provide skills in project monitoring, commercialisation of products and services, and the implementation of external communication tools

USMG0L : Business and livestock farming diagnosis
USMG0P: The technical levers for action in livestock advisory services
USMG0H: Livestock farming communication and consultancy
USMG0Q: English for Specific Purposes
USMG0J: Livestock advisory marketing and negotiation
USMG0K: Technical-economic, ecological and social environment analysis of the agricultural and rural enterprise
USMG0M: Project management in livestock advisory services
TED 001: Challenges of ecological transitions: understanding and acting
Work placement: Supervised project / Activity report

Rhythm

The course comprises 483 hours at the training centre. The work-study programme typically involves spending one week in three at the training centre, with the rest of the time devoted to work experience in a company.

This course also paves the way for further study towards a Master’s degree or entry to an engineering school in the fields of agriculture, the environment or the agri-food sector.

career prospects

Holders of the Animal Production degree can go on to take up roles such as:

Technical adviser or agricultural management adviser,
Livestock technician,
Consultant in animal nutrition or livestock equipment, working within a variety of organisations, both public and private

Tariffs

For 12 months: 12 500 €

The training is mainly funded by the company's OPCO (Operator of Skills) as well as by funds obtained by the CFA.

From 1 July 2025, the state is imposing a residual charge of €750 for the training year.

This amount will be invoiced by the training centre after the 45-day company trial period.

Prerequisite

Be aged between 16 and 29
Hold a BTSA Agricultural Production, or Agricultural Business Analysis, Management and Strategy (ACS’Agri), Quality, Food, Innovation and Health Control (BIOQUALIM), or any other equivalent qualification 5 minimum (BTS, GOAL, DEUST, BUT2, L2), subject to assessment of the application and career plans
Present a professional plan aligned with the course objectives and expectations
To sign an apprenticeship contract with a host organisation linked to the livestock sector for the duration of the training

Access conditions

Interview within 30 days following the initial contact. Admission between January and June for a September intake
Recruitment is based on an application and an interview. It takes into account a two-year post-A-level qualification, experience and personal motivation.

Assessment methods

The vocational degree is awarded to students who have achieved:

an overall average of ≥ 10/20 across all course modules
a mark of ≥ 10/20 for the supervised project and the activity report
