A genuine learning resource at the heart of the establishment, the agricultural farm constitutes a live training space where learners discover and experience the many facets of animal and plant production. From livestock farming to crop management, it offers a hands-on immersion in today's agricultural practices and the challenges of tomorrow.
A professional-scale operation.
With 55 Holstein and Flemish Red dairy cows producing nearly 480,000 litres of milk per year, 120 Boulonnais sheep giving birth to approximately 180 lambs every year, as well as 70 hectares of agricultural land composed of 45 hectares of arable land and 25 hectares of grassland, the farm is a real experimentation and learning ground on a professional scale.
From CAP to Bachelor’s degree — technical skills and agroecology.
The learners from CAP to Bachelor’s degree there, they develop a range of technical skills: livestock management and monitoring, animal nutrition management, forage self-sufficiency, crop management, rotational grazing, precision agriculture (drone operation), variety testing and agroecological practices.
Through real-life scenarios and innovative decision-making tools, the farm supports learners in acquiring the practical skills, independence and competences essential for responding to changes in the agricultural sector and becoming the professionals of tomorrow.
