The training

Programme

The pupil takes all of their lessons in their enrolled class
The pupil comes into the ULIS room during every study period
The pupil is supported in certain lessons by an AESH from the unit, depending on availability and needs
Co-teaching possible on certain classes by the ULIS scheme coordinator

The scheme adapts as much as possible to the schedules and needs of the different pupils, whether for the coordinator or the AESH staff

Teaching resources and methods

Working in collaboration with external professionals (SESSAD, speech therapists, etc.)
Working in conjunction with each pupil’s original school to facilitate their integration into the ULIS programme at sixth-form level
Support for pupils in certain inclusive settings provided by an AESH attached to the ULIS scheme
Regular meetings with the family and the designated teacher to discuss the young person’s career plans and their future after ULIS
A classroom at the heart of the school to work, recharge, and unwind
Dedicated time with the ULIS coordinator to adapt, understand, help and organise
Develop independence to progress in your personal and professional journey
Working with teachers to monitor coursework and provide personalised and tailored support

The ULIS coordinator supports the pupil with career guidance procedures, educational follow-up team meetings and outside meetings if necessary.

From the end of September onwards, get in touch with the ULIS coordinator to look at the possibilities.

Joint meeting with the director of the chosen unit.

Work experience days available with or without boarding.

Registration can only be validated once the «ULIS lycée» notification has been obtained from the MDPH.
