A genuine research and development centre at the heart of the facility, this resolutely future-focused space relies on a team of experts and specialised equipment dedicated to creating varieties adapted to environmental changes and societal challenges on a global scale.
Equipped with a in vitro laboratory and 2,500 m² of greenhouses and tunnels, it enables the annual production of 150,000 plants from 10 species multiplied and crossed for a international seed companies. From the lycée stage onwards, learners discover and experiment with the processes involved in plant breeding, as closely as possible to the realities of plant research and innovation.
