The training

Level 5 State Diploma, issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty. Registered in the RNCP on 28-11-2024, under number 39836.

Objectives

The BTS ACS'Agri prepares students for agricultural business management, the management of crop or livestock systems, business management, and technical-economic consulting.

It provides training in analysis and strategic reasoning, reconciling the competitiveness of agricultural businesses with the support of transitions.

Semester 1:

EU 1.1: Assessment of an agricultural area and its social challenges
Module 1.2: Evaluation of a biotechnical system (monitoring of agronomic and zootechnical performance)

Semester 2:

Unit 2.1: Monitoring and implementation of compliance with regulatory, tax, social, accounting, legal and QHSE deadlines
Unit 2.2: Adjusting the management of a biotechnical system in a context of transitions
Module 2.3: Discovery of the economy and agriculture of a foreign country (EIL)

Rhythm

School

12 to 16 weeks' work placement:

A main work placement lasting at least 8 weeks on a farm, during which a comprehensive assessment is carried out and a practical project is undertaken
Secondary work placements with a total duration of 4 weeks, including: a placement abroad and/or in a para-agricultural business (bank, agricultural contractor, cooperative, seed company, etc.), as well as a diversification placement on another farm

On average 15 days in a training centre, then 15 days in the company

Target audience

Holders of a general, technological (STAV) or vocational agricultural baccalaureate
Young people interested in agriculture, management and farm operations
People wishing to work in agricultural production or take over a farm

Prerequisite

Holding at least a degree in Level 4 (A-level)
Having an interest in agriculture, management and the life sciences
Motivation for fieldwork and/or agricultural operations
Ability to organise and work both independently and as part of a team
For apprenticeships: aged between 16 and 29 (exemptions possible in certain situations)
