Technical platforms at the service of humanity.
For training courses SAPAT Vocational Baccalaureate or AEPE Certificate of Professional Competence, the group provides two educational technical platforms located in Lesquin and Bavay, designed as genuine learning spaces in real-world settings. These professional environments enable learners to develop the technical skills, know-how and interpersonal skills essential for careers in care, service and personal support.
A full range of professional equipment.
Fitted with professional equipment, these spaces bring together all the tools needed for learning: medical beds, mobility and transfer aids, wheelchairs, nappy-changing tables, baby care equipment, play areas for children and adults, as well as equipment that enables the simulation of real-life situations encountered in a professional context.
Kitchen and living space.
One educational kitchen area complements these facilities so that students can learn to prepare meals tailored to individual needs, whilst adhering to rules on hygiene, food storage and specific preparation methods, such as those for baby bottles. Students also learn techniques related to maintaining the local environment housework, premises cleaning, ironing, sewing and organisation of everyday living spaces.
Beyond the actions — community engagement and social connections.
Because supporting someone involves more than just mastering technical skills, our students also develop their interpersonal, educational and facilitation skills through a range of supervised practical exercises.
These simulations are carried out in our training facility, but also through immersive experiences at our professional partners (care homes, shared accommodation schemes, residential care homes, and soon in nurseries), enabling learners to encounter real-life situations and adapt to the needs of a diverse audience.
From organising activities and games to providing support with everyday tasks, and fostering social connections, every experience helps to train professionals who are able to support people with kindness at every stage of life, from young children to older people.
The technical facilities also facilitate the conduct of inclusive and community-led projects. In particular, pupils help organise initiatives such as ‘Moove Your Hand’, which aim to raise awareness of disability and promote inclusion, as well as tea dances designed to enhance the wellbeing and social connections of older people. These projects develop their sense of initiative, their creativity and their ability to work in partnership with local stakeholders.
