The training

Level 4 State Diploma, issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty. Registered in the RNCP under number 38076.

Objectives

Drive the business in a sustainability context according to the objectives
Value the services in accordance with the set objectives
Rationalise work within the company in compliance with regulations and the preservation of occupational health and safety: work planning and workforce management
Having suitable horses, for optimal utilisation while respecting animal welfare: management of equine feeding and care, maintenance of buildings and equipment
Train equines to enhance their potential and satisfy clients

For 12 months: 8 500 €

(Training costs are covered by OPCOs and funding obtained by the CFA. There is therefore no remaining cost for the apprentice and the company.).

Target audience

Apprenticeship training is open to young people aged from 15 up to 29 years old.
Young people under 15 who have completed the first cycle of secondary education (end of 3rd) can start an apprenticeship contract, provided they have reached the age of 15 before 31 December of the year they begin their training

Prerequisite

For entry into Year 11 (Seconde professionnelle)

Proof of proficiency Level 4 riding test validated during the placement test
Satisfy one of the following conditions:
To come from a Year 9 class of secondary school or agricultural education
Hold a degree in Level 3 (V)
To come from a Year 11 general or technological stream subject to a positive recommendation from the class council

For entry into Year 12 (Première professionnelle)

Proof of proficiency Stage 6 riding test validated during the placement test
Satisfy one of the following conditions:
To come from a Year 11 professional from the same family of professions
Hold a degree in Level 3 (v) from the same job family (e.g. CAPa Stable Hand (Groom) subject to a positive recommendation from the class council
To hold a Baccalaureate
To come from a Year 11 general or technological stream subject to a positive recommendation from the class council

Note: Some age and qualification exemptions may be granted depending on the candidate's profile.

Practical riding tests to assess specific skills

Assessment methods

Apprenticeship training is assessed through two complementary methods:

Continuous Assessment (CCF): regular assessments throughout the course, accounting for 62.5 % of the final mark
Final Assessments (EPT): final examinations designed to assess the skills acquired, accounting for 37.5 % of the final mark
